Save the date!

For the first time in Satakunta, we are launching the Satakunta International Peoples’ Fair! 

The event has 3 main objectives:

• Get to know the international people living, working or studying in Satakunta,
• Recognise and reward people and companies who have been actively contributing to an inclusive social and work life in Satakunta,
• Create a more inclusive and international atmosphere that will encourage the attraction and retention of skilled labour in Satakunta.

The event will take place on the 21st September 2023, at 15.00 - 18.00. The venue is Puuvilla, Pori.

The event is organised by International Professionals Finland - Interprofinland in partnership with Porin kaupunki - City of Pori, Kokemäen kaupunki, Rauman kaupunki - City of Rauma, International House Rauma, EURES Finland Satakunta, TE-palvelut Satakunta, Europe Direct Pohjois-Satakunta, SAMK - Satakunta University of Applied Sciences, Sataedu WinNova/Suunta eteenpäin, Diakonia-ammattikorkeakoulu, Prizztech Oy, Seasons HR Management Oy, Punainen Risti Satakunnan piiri, and Kauppakeskus Puuvilla.

Nominate an Awardee

Nominate an Awardee for the Satakunta International People's Fair 2023. Below are the categories for the award:

• International Student of the Year
• Immigrant Entrepreneur of the Year
• International Talent Recruiter of the Year
• International Talent of the Year
• Refugee of the Year

A total of 5 winners, one for each category, will be selected by a dedicated committee made up of stakeholders from different sectors across the region. The awards / gifts will be presented to the winners at the event on 21.9.2023. 

The selection criteria will be based on outstanding  performance, innovation, entrepreneurship, social/community participation, inclusion, talent retention, and contribution to growth and development in the region.

In addition, a 50 euros gift card will be drawn among those who participated in the nomination. The winner of the gift card will be announced at the event on 21.9.2023. 

Nominations will run from 6th - 28th August.
