Develop your cross-cultural and disruptive skills as well as your electrical motors, microcontrollers, sensors and web application knowledge through a two week out-of-the-box, interactive and international weeks about transforming a pedal car into a (semi) autonomous vehicle.
The first week at Ephec, Brussels, Belgium, you will transform your pedal car into a phone controlled car.
The second week at SAMK, Pori, Finland, you will transform your phone controlled car into a (semi) autonomous car.
When:
FROM FEBRUARY 11th TO 15th, 2024
From pedal car to phone-controlled vehicle
For this Brussels-located International BusIT & BusSTEM Week, students will have to motorize a pedal car, add an Arduino controller and develop a web app to control the vehicle.
FROM FEBRUARY 18th TO 22th, 2024
From phone-controlled vehicle to (semi) autonomous vehicle.
In this week, in Pori, Finland students will have to transform their phone controlled vehicle to a (semi) autonomous vehicle by using the Arduino and adding sensors to run an obstacle track on it’s own as fast as possible.
What’s in it for you:
This 1+1 week BIP is organized for students with a technical background, you don’t need to be a specialist in ICT, web- development or electrical engineering but some knowledge is welcome.
You’ll be working in international groups of 4 persons for two weeks during daytime. Social activities are included in the evening programs.
You can sign up for one week only as well, but signing up for both weeks will be chosen first.
The weeks are partly subsidized through Erasmus+ and will cover almost all costs for travelling and over night staying.
3 + 3 credits recognized as part of your studies
